With the use of technology - Social media, we have been able to sell our brand more visibly to potential talents who would be interested in knowing our value proposition before considering to join our team.
The use of technology has helped us to reach out to a wide variety of prospective job seekers. It has also helped us with adequate information from the candidate's profile should we decide to headhunt
Culture fit is another critical advantage. without meeting the candidate in person, we can use technology to determine a great culture fit. For instance, on LinkedIn I have the advantage as a recruiter/prospective employer to view a candidate's profile, his/her activities, posts etc.
Once an organization is transparent in its dealings with employees, have an admirable brand, great value propositions and are able to get employees that have the right culture fit, employee retention is certain.
